If you already have your RI permit, you can now enroll in one of the behind the wheel instruction packages. Rhode Island requires that teens under the age of 18 attend a 33-hour driver ed class before they can obtain their Learner's Permit from the DMV.
This course is an in-person course. This class is from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Monday and 9:00 am-4:00 pm on Tuesday-Friday. The classroom is located at 3001 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. Each day will include a 30 minute meal break.
